Lucky IV Brewing is a San Jose brewery, but has its roots in Las Vegas. The inspiration for the brewery’s name is linked to a the high-stakes game Roulette and a late night where the number 4 was indeed lucky.

The typography for the logo is all custom blackletter type. We carried the blackletter design into the stylized barely leaves that sit on the left and right of the roman numeral “IV”.

The blackletter type has a heavy weight to it, defining a no nonsense structure for the brewery’s mark. The logo affirms that this is a brewery that can be counted on to deliver high-quality craft beers. Anyone to partake in a cold pint from this brewery would be “Lucky”.
