With the hoverboard craze in full effect, stores saw an onslaught of smooth sleek packaging designs with minimalist approaches that employed bursts of light for flash. Everyone seemed to have the same idea.
We at Urban Ride & Roll went in a different direction. To us “urban” meant edgy, gritty, and rough around the edges. With these words in mind we came up with a design for our packaging that reflected those words visually.
The entire foundation of the box is set with a graffiti script of jumbled letters that overlap each other. Images and content sit on a rough textured background reminiscent of a well-worn sidewalk or even a city street that has seen better days.
